Things Carter says...

I showed Carter my chest xray and pointed out my ribs and arm bones. He asked where my "birdy wings" were. I told him that they weren't in the picture. And he says, "You dont have any birdy wings." I said, "I guess not" And Carter says, "Yeah, cause you are not a bird!"


"Mom, what is your favorite color?"
Turquoise, I say.
"Mom, I said your favorite color."
Carter, turquoise is a color. It is a kind of blue.
"Mom, what is your favorite color?"
Pink, Carter, my favorite color is pink.
"Oh, well that's gross."

My Girl!

Chloe just won 1st Place in the first grade english spelling bee. She beat out about 89 other kids. I know what you're thinking, she's brilliant!!!

Last semester, she took 2nd in the spanish spelling bee. This semester, she smoked all the kids with her english skills. What did they expect anyway?

I told her she must take after me, since I won a spelling bee when I was in 4th grade. :)
