My baby girl.

On this particular Sunday, Chloe let me put hot rollers in her hair. She is very strong willed and this decision came with quite a bit of persuasion (promises & threats) on my part. She likes to do her own thing & I definitely do not want to stifle that creativity, but some Sundays I have to put my foot down. On this day, after it was all done, she was very proud of herself & wanted her picture taken. I, being the proud & adoring mom, was more than happy to oblige. After all she is my only baby girl & she is quickly, too quickly, growing up. And I dont want to miss any of it.

Who does Luke look like?

I think between these 2 pictures, Luke looks the most like Logan.

So, Luke is 3 months old now. He is starting to grow out of that newborn look & develop his own features. He is very fair with blond hair & blue eyes like Logan, but has larger features like Carter. I can't decide who he looks like more.

So last August, I broke down and signed up to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I mostly signed up to feed my own habit. I love to make cards and one day when all the kids are inschool I hope to be able to scrapbook too. Anyway, I discovered splitcoaststampers.com and really like the crisscross card. This is the one I made. We did this at my last workshop and it was a real hit. What do you think? The colors are groovy guava and wild wasabi. Back in the early nineties I think they were real popular as peach & green! Now they are back & have cooler names.

Just in case you are wondering, the ghosties came from Marshalls.

Due to overwhelming demand I have proudly posted some recent pictures of the newbie. Luke who's little life started out kind of rough, with all sorts of tummy aches and spitting up and reflux medicine 5 times a day, has made a turn for the better. At about 5 weeks old, something changed. I think his tummy wasnt ready and needed a little transition time, but I suppose I may never really know why he got better, but all the sudden he did. Now that the tummy aches are gone, he is a much happier, more comfortable guy. He sleeps for about 8 hours at night starting at 7 or 8, (if I could only get myself in bed then, I wouldnt be so tired all the time). He loves his sister and brothers. He smiles the most for them in the morning when they plop down on the stool right in front of his swing. He has become quite a bit of a daddy's boy too, just like all the rest---well except for Chloe, she is Grandma Sugarbee's girl! Anyway, Luke goes to sleep so easily for Dad. He also is very content sucking on his fist, as you will see in the picture below.

Student of the Week!

Logan loves preschool! His teacher's name is Mrs. Morales and she is amazing. Each week, one of the kids is the Student of the Week. Starting October 8th, it was Logan's turn. The Student of the week has special priviledges. He gets to share every day of the week, instead of just one day. He gets to ring the "clean up" bell and the "time to go home" bell. He also gets to bring in a special poster all about him and show it to the class. Then he is presented with a special certificate. Logan is usually pretty quiet and shy, but when Mrs. Morales called him up to come and talk about his poster board, he jumped right up. Without a word from Mrs. Morales, he went through every picture describing what was going on and naming each person in the picture. I was laughing so hard, I was crying. I was shocked and excited to see Logan so proud up in front of the class. He did so good. I was so proud of him!!!!!!! Mrs. Morales thinks he might make a great public speaker one day. Go Bubba!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time for a hair cut. Oh no!

Well, the boys got haircuts. At first all we wanted to do was give them a trim. Carter wasnt exactly sitting still like I wanted and I accidentally got a big chunk off. Tyler thought he would fix it and so he tried. In the end, Carter lost his curls. And he has some really short hair that sticks straight up in the back. You can kind of see it in the picture, against the chair. My Bad! Anyway, we know his curls will grow back and then we will be paying someone big money to trim his hair because we do not want to have another mess up...then again, it is only hair. And it will grow back eventually, right????????????????????????????????

This is Logan's before shot. And down below is the during shot. The next post will have his after shot. This poor boy has beautiful, fine, and totally straight hair. Now, he doesnt have much left. :(

Carter's Birthday

Happy Birthday Carter!

We celebrated Carter's second birthday on October 6th. He had so much fun opening his presents & got a little shy when we sang Happy Birthday.

BOO!

Well, these are the latest items to be added to my Halloween decorations. There is something unusual about these ghosts that just drew me to them. I really like them & asked Tyler if I could leave them up all year? LOL! My mom thinks if I add a scarf around the neck, I could leave them up for Christmas decor. too! What do you think???
