I was going to make this really cool slide show with the pictures we took decorating the cupcakes. I spent all this time uplaoding them to a web site only to realize all the pictures have to be horizontal. You cant rotate them in the slide show, (unless I am just totally computer illiterate and couldn't figure out how). So, after wasting all that time, I just decided to post them in the same old boring way. But at least I put new pictures up for all of my blogging audience! :)

Hooray new pictures!!!

Carter licked the frosting off his cupcake and then just went straight for the sprinkles. Why waste time putting them on the cupcake when you are just going to lick them off anyway?

Well, the cupcake war began with Tyler smashing a cupcake in Chloe's face, then Tyler got one in his face. Chloe and Logan thought it was so funny, they each smashed one in their own face.

Look how long that tongue is!!!

Finally some Christmas fun...

It sure has been a long time since I posted anything interesting, well anything at all for that matter. I have been super busy. I am the Enrichment Leader at church and it seems I have been totally consumed with that for about a month and a half. We just had our big Christmas Program and so now I have my life my back. :) Last Sunday we were able to have some Christmas fun together. We finally decorated our Christmas tree and frosted cupcakes.

More pics

Luke, our little lion, didn't last long trick or treating. Once we got home, he had a little homemade milk shake, if you know what I mean, got his Christmas jammies on, and was quite content!

Chloe, our spooky, scary witch on All Hallow's Eve asked for warts on her face. We didn't have any fake warts lying around. However, she was happy with a ton of spider rings on her fingers!

So you want to see new pictures--this is the best I can do...

I hear, some people, not naming names, (aly) :) think I need to post some more pictures. So, here come the Halloween pics. I havent downloaded any new ones from the camera yet, so, this is as good as it gets. And I dont want to hear anymore complaining! :)

Is anyone home, we really want some candy!

At first Carter was a little shy at the door, but by the end of the night, he was the first one up to the door.

Look what I got!

Trick or Treating California style--flip flops!

Chloe, the good witch!

Kids say the darndest things...

After getting his jammies on, Logan came downstairs in shorts and a short sleeve shirt. I said, "Logan you cant wear those it is too cold at night." To which Logan replied, "Dad siad I could and he's the boss because he is bigger than you are."

I was trying to hurry Chloe along in the shower. I kept telling her to be fast and hurry up... when she said, "I cant hurry up, I might hurt my delicate eyeballs," (Delicate eyeballs? I asked her where she heard about delicate eyes and she said in a book at school).

Happy Halloween!

What a fun Halloween we had. Luke was a lion. I think the rest are pretty obvious!

My baby girl.

On this particular Sunday, Chloe let me put hot rollers in her hair. She is very strong willed and this decision came with quite a bit of persuasion (promises & threats) on my part. She likes to do her own thing & I definitely do not want to stifle that creativity, but some Sundays I have to put my foot down. On this day, after it was all done, she was very proud of herself & wanted her picture taken. I, being the proud & adoring mom, was more than happy to oblige. After all she is my only baby girl & she is quickly, too quickly, growing up. And I dont want to miss any of it.

Who does Luke look like?

I think between these 2 pictures, Luke looks the most like Logan.

So, Luke is 3 months old now. He is starting to grow out of that newborn look & develop his own features. He is very fair with blond hair & blue eyes like Logan, but has larger features like Carter. I can't decide who he looks like more.

So last August, I broke down and signed up to become a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator. I mostly signed up to feed my own habit. I love to make cards and one day when all the kids are inschool I hope to be able to scrapbook too. Anyway, I discovered splitcoaststampers.com and really like the crisscross card. This is the one I made. We did this at my last workshop and it was a real hit. What do you think? The colors are groovy guava and wild wasabi. Back in the early nineties I think they were real popular as peach & green! Now they are back & have cooler names.

Just in case you are wondering, the ghosties came from Marshalls.

Due to overwhelming demand I have proudly posted some recent pictures of the newbie. Luke who's little life started out kind of rough, with all sorts of tummy aches and spitting up and reflux medicine 5 times a day, has made a turn for the better. At about 5 weeks old, something changed. I think his tummy wasnt ready and needed a little transition time, but I suppose I may never really know why he got better, but all the sudden he did. Now that the tummy aches are gone, he is a much happier, more comfortable guy. He sleeps for about 8 hours at night starting at 7 or 8, (if I could only get myself in bed then, I wouldnt be so tired all the time). He loves his sister and brothers. He smiles the most for them in the morning when they plop down on the stool right in front of his swing. He has become quite a bit of a daddy's boy too, just like all the rest---well except for Chloe, she is Grandma Sugarbee's girl! Anyway, Luke goes to sleep so easily for Dad. He also is very content sucking on his fist, as you will see in the picture below.

Student of the Week!

Logan loves preschool! His teacher's name is Mrs. Morales and she is amazing. Each week, one of the kids is the Student of the Week. Starting October 8th, it was Logan's turn. The Student of the week has special priviledges. He gets to share every day of the week, instead of just one day. He gets to ring the "clean up" bell and the "time to go home" bell. He also gets to bring in a special poster all about him and show it to the class. Then he is presented with a special certificate. Logan is usually pretty quiet and shy, but when Mrs. Morales called him up to come and talk about his poster board, he jumped right up. Without a word from Mrs. Morales, he went through every picture describing what was going on and naming each person in the picture. I was laughing so hard, I was crying. I was shocked and excited to see Logan so proud up in front of the class. He did so good. I was so proud of him!!!!!!! Mrs. Morales thinks he might make a great public speaker one day. Go Bubba!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time for a hair cut. Oh no!

Well, the boys got haircuts. At first all we wanted to do was give them a trim. Carter wasnt exactly sitting still like I wanted and I accidentally got a big chunk off. Tyler thought he would fix it and so he tried. In the end, Carter lost his curls. And he has some really short hair that sticks straight up in the back. You can kind of see it in the picture, against the chair. My Bad! Anyway, we know his curls will grow back and then we will be paying someone big money to trim his hair because we do not want to have another mess up...then again, it is only hair. And it will grow back eventually, right????????????????????????????????

This is Logan's before shot. And down below is the during shot. The next post will have his after shot. This poor boy has beautiful, fine, and totally straight hair. Now, he doesnt have much left. :(

Carter's Birthday

Happy Birthday Carter!

We celebrated Carter's second birthday on October 6th. He had so much fun opening his presents & got a little shy when we sang Happy Birthday.

BOO!

Well, these are the latest items to be added to my Halloween decorations. There is something unusual about these ghosts that just drew me to them. I really like them & asked Tyler if I could leave them up all year? LOL! My mom thinks if I add a scarf around the neck, I could leave them up for Christmas decor. too! What do you think???

We have been working on getting our
backyard in, at our new house. The kids
love to be outside and the dirt/mud is
driving us crazy, so it has become a priority.
Whenever Tyler is outside working, the kids
are right there beside him. On this particular
day, Chloe decided she just wanted to watch!

Chloe's BIG Day...My Bittersweet Day!

August 29th was Chloe's first day of school. Of

course she picked out her outfit, down to the boots.

She picked her hair style as well, this one is called,

"Like Tinkerbell." I didn't realize how much I would

miss her!

Becca and her family drove home with us in the
motorhome. We spent a lot of time together in
the pool and for Logan's 4th birthday we went to
the beach.

I think Carter ate more sand than food that day!

Logan picked out what flavor cake and frosting
he wanted. Then he decorated the cake.
Boy, was he proud!
After we ate cake & ice cream, we played pin
the tail on the donkey on the side of the
motorhome. Then we made smores!
Logan said his favorite part of the day was
playing in the water.
