We survived!

After two weeks out of school, the kids are going back. The swine flu isnt "over" but I guess "they" decided it isn't too much of a threat to keep the kids at home anymore. (And I say swine flu, because Mexicans don't call it the H1N1 flu). Anyway, now after having two weeks off for spring break, 5 days back in school, and then another two weeks off, the kids are soooo out of the routine. This is going to be a tuff week. But, at least we didnt catch the swine flu, right?

So far "they" say there have been no confirmed cases of the swine flu in our state, Coahuila. However, we have been told by several people that there actually are cases of the swine flu in Coahuila, but that "they" are keeping it a secret. I dont really know what I think, because frankly I havent thought about it, but that is what we have heard.

We also heard that the government created this to detract attention from the current President. I dont know why.

All we know is that the kids are going back to school, (secretly I am jumping for joy). We have had fun swimming the last week and planning Tyler's suprise party.

Tyler turned 30 yesterday. Friday night I planned a surprise party. I didnt sleep all week before the party cause I was too worried something was going to go wrong. Plus, I couldnt tell the kids, they might spill the beans, and I couldnt talk to the one person (Tyler) that I talk to about everything. I dont make decisions very well and it was really tough to overcome that urge to ask him his opinion.

Anyway, I guess I pulled it off. Tyler was surprised and said it was his best party ever. I will post pictures soon.

And just so everyone knows, Luke hasnt had anymore "accidents" lately--at least none that are blogworthy. Thank goodness.

I am so glad you are alive! YOu have survived! :) I think I agree with both stories, someone made it up to distract from the president and now they are keeping all the cases a secret! Yes yes, that sounds good!! To funny!
